Diadem – “Live” – cdr – Diadem Discos

A pair of live recordings taken from 2 of Diadem’s rare live appearances. The first is from a performance at Western Front, the only recorded version of Diadem’s “Choral” composition for two voices and two dictaphones. The second is a documentation of Diadem’s contribution to the Charles H. Scott Gallery’s “The Sound I’m Looking For” exhibition. Included as part of the album’s packaging is a sampling of some of Diadem’s divination/graphic score cards – a quartet of transparencies that can be used by anyone. (out 2010)

Vinyl reissue of original A & G cassette release with the same name. Same music but beautifully remastered by Pete Swanson, and with gorgeous new hand screened art designed by Aja and Gabriel. Limited edition of 500 copies (out 2010)

To commemorate over two years of Fake Jazz, Vancouver’s only weekly experimental music night, the curators have organized a comp of artists who have helped make the night what it is, was, will be. Diadem has contributed a track titled “Sunbirth”. (out 2010)
