GABRIEL SALOMAN (BC) w/ PAUL CLIPSON (CA)
Gabriel Saloman is a Vancouver based musician and artist who has been performing experimental, conceptual and freely improvised music for over 15 years. He is best known for his work as half of Yellow Swans and currently composes and performs solo as GMS and Sade Sade. He also collaborates with Aja Rose Bond under the name Diadem and with MRed as Chambers.

Paul Clipson is a San Francisco-based filmmaker and experimental film artist whose work involves projected installation and live collaborative performances with sound artists and musicians. His largely improvised, in-camera-edited films bring to light subconscious preoccupations and unexpected visual forms. His works have been exhibited and performed both nationally and internationally at such festivals as the New York Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival, and the Rotterdam International Film Festival.

DAN FRIEL (NY) with TODD BAILEY (NY)
Dan Friel creates intense, colorful and intricate instrumentals that, for all their complexity, are melodic pop songs. Equally at home in the DIY scene and the contemporary art world, Friel has been at the forefront of a movement of musicians who create dance music with a clear affinity for the extremes of noise and metal, eschewing the traditional dance clubs and adhering to the ethics of the underground.

RYOKO AKAMA (UK/JP)
sound artist/composer/performer. My works approaches situations that contain silence, time and space, exploring experiences of ‘ma’. I perform with electronics and objects, and create sound installations that deal with space.

I run melange edition label and co-edit reductive journal (mumei publishing).

$7 suggested donation, seating is limited and first come first served.
