Sigma Flare 1 | Chambers | Debacle

it’s been a long time coming. chambers debut release on seattle’s debacle records. the first of two pieces of vinyl – sigma flare 1 is out this friday, oct 2 (sigma flare 2 coming next february). come celebrate, pick up a copy, maybe have drink and take in some sounds from the under ground, under ocean, outer space and in between.

the celebration begins friday, oct 2 at Selectors’ Records with a listening party and special ambient set by Chambers.

it’s a varied cast. starting with deep ambient (scant.intone), into downtempo (surround), leading into heavier beats and drones overhead (chambers), and finishing off with some leftfield techno (derivatives). of course .. all in the context of dub. paying our respects to the foundation with some dusty first-pressing dub records (spiny jim) at the start and end of the night, while navigating the uncharted dub abstractions of the now and next, all thru out the night (..that’s chambers, and everyone else in there own particular ways).
